It is not always easy to find a nice watch for a present. More so if t is meant for a special manager who has has been so dedicated in managing our share portfolio. 

So, when my father instructed me to identify one such watch for her, there is not any specific model that cross my mind in that instance.

329. ON THE WAY...

Sniffing through my stock searching high and low for the right complimentary items for a grand event scheduled on this June 3, 2012, I just could not zero in for the right items.

327. SELECTED MEMENTOS FROM EUROPEAN TRIP..

I've been back from my European for quite a while but trying to pen my first posting since proved to be a monumental task especially with the many assignments to catch and the many task to attend to. Hence the absence of any entry in March, April and stretching into May.

There are actually many articles to write which I've been thinking of writing especially on the trip and many interesting watches to display on the blog but the mind kind of devoid of the electric spark to trigger the right energy to the fingers to string those right pieces of words together.

Look around and ponder on what and how to start...

 Eventually my eyes glued and settled on these three pieces on sovernier desk clocks, meant for presents to closed ones, my wife and I picked up in Italy.

We were in Rome when we picked up this beautiful and shining desk clock as a memento specially for my father. On the way to Pantheon from Trevi fountain, we found a chic shop full of clock.

When we entered the shop, we're amazed to see the bountiful of clocks displayed all hand made from ceramic.

Though spoilt for choices, we managed to pick one piece to remind us of our trip...

326. OUT OF TOWN...

I'm off to London, Paris, Rome, Florence,Venice and Geneva with my beloved wife and will be back on 21 February 2012 (21022012).

 Hopefully then, I'll have many new and preloved watches to display ...and some interesting write-ups to narrate.

324. A NEW LEASE OF LIFE FOR A BEAUTIFUL BULOVA..just 4 d record

There are many beautiful watches from many quarters that reached my door steps to be exorcised, resuscitated or even do a make over. Some are from friends, friends of friends, fellow bloggers, fellow traders and LT visitors. Some watches are easy to fix and some take extra long time to get the right parts at the right reasonable price.

As a watch lover, I loved them all to treat and care the precious watches as though there are my own. Took extra effort to ensure that these watches get their new lease of lives again to serve their masters.

320. AFTER A LONG BREAK...I'M BACK

Hi folks,

I was away for quite a while... 29 days to be exact. That time off was necessary for me to attend to some private matters.

During that time I solemnised my wedding to my lovely wife...

Went through three wedding receptions attended by relatives and friends who came from near and far, as far as China and Sri Lanka.

Special thanks to my Sifu, Syed Mohri of Irhomdeys and Dr Azlan of Lanjamkoleksi for making time to attend the wedding reception at Impiana Hotel., Ipoh. Really appreciate the gesture

...and then flew to Bali, Indonesia for our honeymoon.

Back from Bali, there were lots of catching up to do, attending company's matters, bills to pay, meeting clients, suppliers and friends and scouting for new ventures...and yes, of course furnishing my house.

Readers who have had the opportunity to read the article by my friend, Ijan of Jamlama would have noticed how bare my house was then,when he came visiting on 03 October 2011.

Well Ijan, my wife and I managed to liven up our home with some decent furnishings, albeit not quite  perfect...

Once in a blue moon a timepiece rich in history turned up at the door steps. This is no ordinary watch as the signature of Rolex appeared prominently on the crown and buckle yet the dial carries the name of Eaton.

It intrigued me to search for more information. What better way to check than to give a quick tinkle to the master himself. the great Syed Mohri of Irhomdeys. True enough this great timepiece is produced  by Rolex specifically for Eaton.
